Momo Kashiwabara is a Literature Club member and Rui Tachibana's friend. Energetic, eccentric and extremely friendly, she quickly gives Rui a nickname and a doll and develops a strong crush on Natsuo. Beneath her bubbly exterior, Momo is vulnerable and often left alone because her parents are almost always working. Her parents also have a troubled relationship.
Story spoilers
Momo goes through a period of self-harm, leaving scars on her wrist; Natsuo's continued kindness after learning about this becomes one reason she values him. Later, she falls in love with and marries Ritsu Osaka, and the two have a daughter.
