Moeka China

Moeka China is Akeno's childhood friend and a source of mutual encouragement who aspires to become a Blue Mermaid. An excellent student with strong leadership qualities and an exceptional memory, she enrolls at Yokosuka Girls' Marine High School and becomes captain of the Musashi. Despite often seeming like the older-sister figure, she relies more heavily on Akeno emotionally than Akeno does on her.
