Miyuki Nanase

Miyuki Nanase is Hajime's childhood friend and next-door neighbor, a model student whose closeness with him surprises people who see him as a slacker. She trusts that Hajime is more capable than he appears, and the two appear to share feelings neither has fully expressed. Miyuki also possesses strong logic and perception, though she is not as gifted a detective as Hajime.
