Mirei Yajima

Mirei Yajima is a first-year student who joins Genshiken after seeing Ogiue's manga poster demonstration. She is a fujoshi, though less open about it than Yoshitake, and tends to wear men's clothing. Yajima struggles to accept Hato's cross-dressing even after learning the circumstances behind it. She also works as one of Ogiue's paid manga assistants, handling erasing and page cleanup.
