Biography
Minene Uryuu is an internationally wanted terrorist and bomber whose “Escape” diary predicts the best available route out of dangerous situations. The diary is powerful but not absolute: if no viable escape exists, it cannot create one. Minene is an atheistic terrorist with a fierce hatred of organized religion.
Story spoilers
Her hostility toward religion stems from losing her parents in crossfire while traveling in the Middle East. Deus later draws her into the Diary game after a failed assassination attempt. Although Minene begins as Yukiteru’s enemy, she eventually becomes his ally and develops feelings for police officer Masumi Nishijima. In one anime outcome, a second-world Minene and third-world Masumi live together and have two children.
