Biography
Mikoto Shinozaki is a 15-year-old first-year student whose quiet life is marked by daily bullying from older students. When Yuki Fukazawa asks him to join the school cycling club, he initially refuses because bicycles frighten him and a forgotten childhood trauma has left him unable to remember how to ride.

Determined to impress Yuki and change himself, Mikoto repeatedly practices until he overcomes his fear and learns to ride. His persistence eventually establishes him as a sprinter, while his kindness and loyalty keep him committed to both the cycling club and Yuki despite setbacks.
