Story spoilers
When Wendy finally finds Michael, he reveals that he is no longer being held against his will and has chosen to support the Claw's plan. He becomes a key Original Seven pilot of Saudade of Sunday and ultimately remains committed to the Claw despite his doubts. After a later confrontation, Michael and Wendy reach an understanding and part ways; Michael and Fasalina are then apparently crushed by a falling boulder, though their deaths are not confirmed.
