Biography
Mewtwo is a Pokémon created through gene-splicing and DNA engineering based on Mew. Engineered for battle, it is shown in the first movie using levitation, telepathy, and mind control; it can also materialize psychic waves as its signature move, Psystrike.

Although initially characterized as vicious and lacking compassion, Mewtwo later shows a caring, protective, and even altruistic side.
