Meroune Lorelei

Meroune Lorelei, usually called Mero, is a warm-hearted mermaid who uses a wheelchair. Centaurea says she gives off an air of royalty. Fascinated since childhood by the tragic romance of Hans Andersen's The Little Mermaid, Mero wants to experience a similarly tragic love herself.
