Character profile
Meia Gisborn
メイア・ギズボーンBiography
Meia Gisborn is the squadron commander who leads the Dreads in battle. She initially detests men, rarely smiles and suffers from claustrophobia. The crew appreciates her and commonly addresses her as their leader or chief.
Story spoilers
As a child, Meia loses her parents during a disastrous evacuation and survives through crime and street fighting before joining Magno Vivian's pirates. When her Dread later combines with Hibiki's Vanguard, they form the silver-eagle-like Vandread Meia-type, whose primary attack is a high-speed ram. Although she never clearly states romantic feelings for Hibiki, he becomes the one man she no longer hates outright.
