Mei Mei
梅梅Biography
Mei Mei is a 13-year-old outsider from a family of traveling performers. After repeatedly making mistakes in their act, she sets out to improve her skills and eventually reaches the island. Extremely shy and reclusive, she often communicates through drawings and can speak to strangers only while disguised, usually in a large tree costume. The kappa Tohno accompanies her after befriending her during her travels.

Mei Mei develops feelings for Ikuto after he fights to keep Tiger from taking her away to become the North Leader.
