Mechadon is a robotic counterpart to the taiko drums Don and Katsu, brought to life by the Great Soul. He sees the pair as rivals and sometimes ends his sentences with "-mecha."
Story spoilers
Mechadon's plans for world domination are stopped by the Piyo Rangers. The Rangers later discover that he unknowingly kept them warm while they were still eggs, and they reconcile with him.
