Biography
Maya, known within her ninja clan as “Black Maya,” is a runaway ninja whose reasons for leaving are unknown. Despite running away, she still identifies with the clan and follows its traditions, including strict secrecy about her identity.
Story spoilers
After Kazuya discovers her identity and later helps her escape, Maya considers herself indebted to him and ends up living with him. Though she initially dislikes him, she gradually comes to regard him as reliable and kind and eventually accepts him as her husband. In Guardian Hearts-Power UP!, she confesses that she loves him.
