Matsui Gou

Matsui Gou is an uchigatana forged by the Etchu Province swordsmith Gou Yoshihiro and once owned by Matsui Okinaga, lord of Yatsushiro Castle. His broad aptitude for warfare and administration, as well as his fixation on blood, are presented as possible reflections of his former master and his history as a sword rather than confirmed causes.
