Biography
Masaki Akemiya is Sumika's classmate and develops feelings for her, first getting her attention by telling her that she is cute. His compliment matters to Sumika because she is insecure about whether she fits Ushio's preferred type.
Story spoilers
Sumika later discovers that a girl she admired in a store was actually Akemiya dressed as a girl. After his younger sister sends a photograph of him in that outfit to a magazine, he is hired as a model and his pictures are published. Akemiya eventually confesses to Sumika, who says her feelings are for Ushio. He later dresses as his female persona again to help the Girls Club and temporarily poses as a transfer student, while Ushio remains unaware of his real gender and finds the persona cute.
