Maria is a second-generation Sister created by Tatsuoki Furumizu. Although she appears older, she is actually younger than Rihoko. She is a strong fighter with a fixation on stuffed animals, which she repeatedly ends up tearing apart, and she struggles to understand her purpose in life.
Story spoilers
Reina provided the genes for Maria's generation, making her Maria's genetic mother. Maria is also chosen to wield the new Dual CloneBlade.
