Mari Makinami Illustrious

Mari Makinami Illustrious is an Evangelion pilot introduced in the second film of the Rebuild of Evangelion series. She pilots Provisional Evangelion Unit-05, an unusual machine with four wheeled mechanical legs and weaponized arms instead of hands. Mari appears unusually comfortable in the cockpit, often singing before eagerly entering combat, and she knows backdoors and Eva functions that other pilots do not.
