Mari Inuyashiki is a high school student, the daughter of Ichirou and Marie Inuyashiki, and Takeshi's older sister. She was very close to her father as a child but speaks to him far less as she grows older.

Toward the end of the series, after she is saved, Mari and her father become close again.
