Mamoru Takamura

Mamoru Takamura is a powerful boxer discovered on the streets by Coach Kamogawa Genji. Loud, arrogant, rude and often vulgar, he has high-level speed, power and technique. He brought Ippo, Aoki and Kimura into boxing and is well respected at Kamogawa Gym despite his ridicule and pranks. His strength and occasional moments of genuine kindness help maintain that respect.
