Story spoilers

His parents died in a childhood car crash that blocked memories of his current life while opening memories of his previous identity as Prince Endymion. Mamoru creates the Tuxedo Mask disguise to seek the Silver Crystal and later aid the Sailor Senshi. He eventually marries Usagi; in the future they rule Earth and Crystal Tokyo as king and queen and have a child, Small Lady, better known as Chibiusa. The manga also gives Mamoru psychometry, allowing him to read dreams, heal people, and monitor the Earth.
