Makoto Kurita

Makoto Kurita is one of the most childlike students in class 5-3. Emotional and easily frightened by supernatural phenomena, he nevertheless has a kind, friendly nature and tries to remain cheerful around both human and yokai threats. With Nūbē's guidance and help from his friends, he gradually learns to face his fears. He also loves childish pastimes such as pets and sentai shows and makes a sincere effort to improve despite poor grades.
