Makoto Katai

Makoto Katai has an intimidating delinquent-like appearance, but is actually nervous, awkward, and prone to stumbling over his words. He wants to overcome his social difficulties and make friends. Tadano quickly recognizes his harmless nature and becomes one of his closest friends, while Katai views Komi as his "master."
