Makoto Itou is a generally mannered and composed first-year student. He lives with his divorced mother, while his younger sister Itaru lives with their father, and he is friends with Taisuke Sawanaga and Otome Katou.
Story spoilers
Makoto becomes involved in numerous unfaithful relationships that he struggles to commit to individually. Over time he grows increasingly apathetic, rash, and egotistical toward others, although he tries to repair situations once he recognizes that he has done wrong.
