Madlax

Madlax is an exceptionally skilled mercenary in Gazth-Sonika with a 98 percent mission-success rate. She remembers almost nothing from before twelve years earlier except the word "Madlax," which she adopts as her code name, and a fragmentary memory involving her father. Despite her extraordinary combat ability, she hates war and behaves gently in private life.
