Lyuze is a female robot who pursues Casshern for revenge over what happened to her sister Liza. When Casshern willingly gives her the chance to kill him, however, she hesitates and cannot go through with it. Instead, Lyuze begins accompanying him on his journey.
Story spoilers
Before the cataclysm, Casshern injured Liza while she was protecting Luna, and Liza later died slowly from corrosion. Lyuze eventually realizes that she loves Casshern. She dies happily in his arms, saying that she lived her life to the fullest.
