Lucy Heartfilia

Lucy Heartfilia is a main character in Fairy Tail and a mage who uses Celestial Spirit magic. At 17, she dreams of joining the Fairy Tail guild and gets her opportunity after meeting Natsu Dragneel and Happy in Hargeon. She travels with them to the guild in Magnolia and begins a new life among its famously disruptive members.

Lucy is cheerful, clever, empathetic, and caring. She is more naturally drawn to writing than fighting, but becomes especially determined when her friends are threatened, and her optimism helps her recover from periods of self-doubt.
