Lingyin Huang

Lingyin Huang is the Chinese representative at Infinite Stratos Academy, pilot of the Shen Long, and Ichika's second childhood friend. The two were best friends in junior high, and Lingyin developed feelings for him after he defended her from children who bullied her over her nationality. A natural cook, she received visits from Ichika at her family's restaurant. Before leaving Japan, she made a marriage-related promise about cooking for him that Ichika misunderstood as an offer of free food.
