Lief

Lief begins as the hot-headed sixteen-year-old son of a blacksmith in the rundown city of Del. On his birthday, he leaves home to search for the magical gems missing from the Belt of Deltora and for the heir meant to wear it. Courageous and trustworthy, he gradually develops greater wisdom and patience through the quest.
