Character profile
Leopard
レオパルドBiography
Leopard is an aristocratic, eccentric constructed figure closely tied to the Shishido family, with his construction financed by the Shishido Conglomerate. He spends much of his time alone, laughing to himself, enjoying brewed tea, and playing around on Akiha's laptop. He also charges Akiha with retrieving specific components, and the Leopard Cannon can be successfully discharged only with her assistance.
Story spoilers
Leopard and Akiha's mutual interdependence develops over the course of the series. Near the end, he annoys Kazane by insisting on immediately rescuing Akiha despite its apparent futility, suggesting that he has come to care about Akiha very much. Leopard also has a dark side that calls itself the "Prince of Darkness" and has blue eyes. According to his dark side, 50 years earlier Leopard dominated the world with tremendous power and fear. According to Fon, a cursed sword awakened this dark side. His dark side does not require Akiha to activate his Soul Shout energy attack; it defeats Nerval by itself and recruits Nami.
