Story spoilers
Leo also trained Rose Aleon, but stopped mentoring her as she became more involved with the mob. Season 2 reveals that Leo had once been unbeatable except by Kazuhiko Amawashi. Impressed by Kazuhiko's skill, Leo set out to combine Kazuhiko's talent with his own techniques in a single golfer, and sought out Eve after learning she was Kazuhiko's surviving daughter.
