Lelouch Lamperouge

Lelouch Lamperouge is the main character of Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion, an Ashford Academy student known for his intelligence and skill at chess. He lives with his younger sister Nunnally before being pulled into the conflict between the Britannian Empire and Japanese resistance forces. An encounter with C.C. grants Lelouch the Geass, a power of absolute obedience that lets him compel people to follow his orders. Using that ability, he takes the identity of Zero and leads the Order of the Black Knights in rebellion against the Empire.
