Laura is an assassin skilled with firearms and other weapons who is repeatedly sent by Apos to assassinate Rin.
Story spoilers
Apos repeatedly resurrects her after Rin kills her. She becomes a cyborg, though the extent of the transformation is left open. She is later revealed to have originally been an immortal whose real body is restrained by Apos while she remotely controls an android resembling Rin. Only her brain is immortal, and Rin extracts the Fruit of Time from it.
