Kyoutarou Ichikawa

Kyoutarou Ichikawa is a second-year middle school student and the protagonist of The Dangers in My Heart. He begins as a gloomy, antisocial boy who entertains violent thoughts about his classmates, but beneath that exterior he is kind and burdened by extremely low self-esteem. He assumes other people are disgusted simply by being near him, while Yamada does not treat him that way.
