Kyouji Takajou

Kyouji Takajou is a stoic former convenience-store clerk from a well-established family. After repeatedly failing the entrance exam for his desired college and arguing harshly with his father and later his older brother, he leaves home and vows to succeed without his family's name. Kyouji struggles to express himself but genuinely loves the other members of Beit, who become an important source of mutual support. He detests most of his family because of neglect and verbal abuse, but still loves and cares for his younger brother Hotaru.
