Biography
Kourai Hoshiumi is Kamomedai High's number 5, playing as an outside hitter and ace. He originally intended to play basketball but joined volleyball in second grade, initially wanting distance from his older brother Akitomo's taunts about their height difference. Watching official matches on television soon led him to genuinely love the sport.
