Character profile
Kou Kitamura
樹多村光Biography
Kou Kitamura grows up near the Tsukishima family and is treated almost like one of them. He and Wakaba are born on the same day at the same hospital and remain nearly inseparable through childhood. Although Kou shows little outward interest in baseball, years of daily practice at the Tsukishima Batting Center make him an excellent hitter, especially against fastballs.
Story spoilers
After Wakaba dies, Kou is inspired by Aoba's pitching form and secretly adopts Aoba's training routine. He eventually joins Seishuu High's baseball club and develops into a well-known ace pitcher in the eastern conference.
