Story spoilers
“Kotona Elegance” is an alias; she keeps her real name and past hidden. Kotona comes from Iron Rock, where she was raised as a skilled assassin and chosen as the next leader. Her true name is also the activation code for the sleeping Gil Dragon and is traditionally known only to her husband. She eventually reveals that secret without marrying Ruuji, then helps Souta pilot the Gil Dragon to Sora Sky City to obtain Leeo ammunition for the war against Jiin.
