Story spoilers
Koshka names herself after the pet cat that was her only source of happiness during a childhood in which she was bullied over her father's crimes. Soon after her mother commits suicide, Koshka is set to enter foster care but is not allowed to bring the cat. The exact point at which Koshka and the cat merge is unknown, while the cat is said to die in an accident shortly after. Following her boss's death, Koshka chooses to travel the world alongside Cho of Benten.
