Biography
Komatsu is a twenty-five-year-old five-star chef at Hotel Gourmet, part of the IGO. Timid but intensely curious, he tries to overcome his fear while traveling with Toriko and proves highly skilled at delicate preparation, ingredient pairing, and spotting edible organisms.
Story spoilers
His culinary ability earns recognition well beyond his official five-star rank. Komatsu eventually becomes the only chef described as successfully recreating the Century Soup, aided by a baby Wall Penguin whose saliva contains a key ingredient.
