Komaru Naegi

Komaru Naegi is the younger sister of Makoto Naegi and the protagonist of Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls. She begins as hypersensitive, timid and insecure, often wavering between hope and despair and thinking of herself as ordinary and weak. Although naive and easily excitable, she can also be stubborn, determined and unexpectedly intuitive.

Komaru is kind but sometimes struggles to relate to experiences far removed from her ordinary life. She is poor with complicated subjects such as basic computer science and appears able to sense ghosts, though she does not consider that unusual.
