Koishi Herikawa is one of Kei's closest friends, a cheerful girl whose family owns a grocery store and who often makes deliveries for them. She has romantic feelings for Kei but hesitates to act on them.

By the time Koishi finally confesses to Kei, he is already deeply in love with Mizuho. The story also hints that Koishi develops affection for her teacher Yamada, though the nature of that relationship is never stated outright.
