Knuckles the Echidna

Knuckles the Echidna is the guardian of the Master Emerald on Angel Island and the sole surviving descendant of the Knuckles Clan's echidna race. Powerful and wild, he uses the spikes on his gloves to dig and climb walls, while his dreadlocks let him glide through the air. He is also one of Sonic's oldest friends and rivals.
