Story spoilers
Klaus boards Yamato and fights in a white Czvarke, seemingly forming stronger bonds with Kodai, Yamamoto and others before secretly planting an object in the Wave Engine to sabotage it. His real name is Ranhart Desler: a member of the Desler bloodline and nephew of Aberdt Desler, as well as an investigator for the Garmillas Security Intelligence Bureau. His deeper purpose aboard Yamato is to gain the trust of Gimleh, leader of the "Desler regime revival faction."
