Kikyou

Fifty years before the story, Naraku disguises himself as Inuyasha and engineers a conflict that ends with Kikyou's death. The ogress Urasue later revives her in a body containing part of Kagome's soul. After learning Naraku caused her death, Kikyou turns her efforts toward destroying him; she ultimately dies peacefully in Inuyasha's arms after another attack by Naraku.
