Kentarou Ichinose

Kentarou Ichinose is a grade-school boy who begins the story frequently trying to get between his mother and her bottle. Initially hostile toward Yusaku, he gradually comes to regard him as an “alright guy.” Kentarou is fond of Kyoko, whom he sees as one of the few sensible people in the building, and develops a crush on her niece Ikuko.
