Kenichi Shikishima

Kenichi Shikishima is one of the foundational recurring youths in Osamu Tezuka's body of manga characters. He frequently led Tezuka's early works, including New Treasure Island, and was characterized by kindness, conscientiousness, and an earnest sense of justice. As Tezuka's stories grew more complex, Kenichi increasingly represented the straightforward purity of childhood.
