Kengo Akechi

Kengo Akechi is a 28-year-old police superintendent and Kenmochi's supervisor, an exceptionally intelligent, elite-level investigator. Arrogant and snobbish at first, he becomes Kindaichi's rival in solving crimes, though the two develop an unspoken respect for each other's abilities. Akechi is proficient in English and French and has experience in Los Angeles.
