Kazuki Shikimori
式森和樹Biography
Kazuki Shikimori is a second-year student at the elite Aoi Academy whose low limit of only eight spells leaves him socially overlooked. Despite insecurity and indecision, he is fundamentally kind and repeatedly uses his magic to help others even when doing so risks reducing him to ash.
Story spoilers
Once Kazuki's magical heritage is revealed, other students take far greater interest in him. His selflessness eventually wins the affection of Rin and Kuriko; in the manga, he ultimately chooses Yuna over them, while the anime leaves his wider romantic situation intact.
