Biography
Karura is a Giriyagina serving Hakuoro, with superhuman strength that lets her wield an exceptionally heavy sword and tear through enemy forces. She is often seen carrying a jug of sake, sometimes even on the battlefield.
Story spoilers
Karura was once the princess of Na-Tunku and chooses a "normal" life serving Hakuoro. She and her brother are the last two Giriyaginas. During the slave revolt in Na-Tunku, she swears everlasting devotion to Hakuoro, the most sacred vow of her kind. After the revolt succeeds, her brother Derihourai becomes emperor of the renamed Karurauatsuurei.
