Karl Marx

Karl Marx was a German thinker and writer whose work spanned philosophy, economics, history, sociology, political theory, journalism and socialist revolution. His political and philosophical ideas profoundly shaped later intellectual, economic and political history. His name also came to be used adjectivally, as a noun and for a school of social theory.
